How Much Is It To Rent Acaravan To Live In

Day 10: the return, the reflections

data path, Monday, June 23

nine o'clock in the morning when Angela greeting to his hostel and the three pilgrims were added last night, and Paloma Ignacio Luca from Italy and Spain.
Last night Angela took us to San Damiano .... kept us so much and would not correctly stand at the stove. It was the feast of the " vote" that recalls the vote of thanks to Clare of Assisi did, for having stopped the invasion by the Saracens. A participatory and very impressive ceremony.
We returned to the hostel around 22.30 and Angela found the strength to pull out something from the fridge .... as "Eta Beta" and invent a pilgrim dinner.

The time has come, greeting everyone with a backpack on his shoulders and left for the station.
The train, Assisi leaves .... Magone takes me a little in my mouth ..... perhaps I could go on, but now the decision is made.
I am convinced at this point to have a commitment for next year: to complete the journey and arrive at Poggio Bustone.
Now it is time to return home.

Reflections

been almost three months of my short journey and only now I've taken the time to "throw" the blog notes of "journey" that I wrote a daily the notebook.
I had time to absorb this experience and make some points.
Surely the Camino de Santiago is the root that is the basis of every pilgrim of our times.
The few pilgrims who have had the pleasure to meet along my path during this journey, they are all " veterans" of Santiago, with the exception Piedmont group who were regularly experiences "trakking" and had their entire organization and detail.

fundamental error, however, that I have committed myself, is to start planning for this journey to find the same situation as the way to Santiago.
The spirit is certainly the same, but the rest can not compare.
Santiago, which can be considered the "mother of all the ways" has a thousand years of history and has taken the time so you should create support structures, hostels, tracking, guides, documentation, etc.. and above all attitudes are formed because the right path should be accepted by people from both institutions, as a heritage to preserve and enhance. Cities, countries along the road to Santiago, have incorporated within them the figure of the pilgrim's journey.
Way " Francis passed here" is still in embryo, and these things must grow, develop .... Angela Seracchioli and that is the engine, body and soul, you know very well and is tenaciously fighting to happen. When
here will be formed, the right mentality on the part of those in both public and ecclesiastical institutions, then this path will take flight, because it has a potential within themselves of great envy that Santiago.
We are in the green heart of Italy in a beautiful area. You will cross the city from the ancient historical roots as Gubbio, Assisi, Spoleto to name only the most popular, rich artistic and cultural treasures and everything, from La Verna in Assisi and over there is the "presence" of Francis.
All ingredients so that they can not take off this idea of \u200b\u200bthe way .... we must not leave her to herself and shattered into a thousand streams.

an excerpt of the letter at the request of Angela that I sent to the ecclesiastical authorities of Assisi, written after my experience:
" ..... A month away from this experience, after reflecting, meditating and compared this journey with pre-Santiago, I realized something.
The path of Francis, has a great potential within him that Santiago did not, except in small part, and then it can be a great opportunity for us pilgrims and your community.
I refer to the community of monks and nuns of various orders, which many still live and thrive in the monasteries scattered along those paths and structures related to these orders that often are closed.
There was one thing in this way that I was a bit '"disturbed" by what could be a way that is completely satisfying and the fact of having to call every day for more references know where to sleep at night ... .. and perhaps be told that no guests, who were shut, which welcomed more ... ..
As if it would be nice and wonderful but, as once the doors of the monasteries were open to pilgrims by offering them what little support they need.
a roof under which shelter for the night and rain, the possibility of a bite if the structure allows it ... .. does not serve a la carte menu, a shower bath for cleaning and personal hygiene .
What type of meeting, exchange of pilgrims and monks or nuns when this happens; what a wonderful opportunity for spiritual growth for us pilgrims to stand face to face with people who live daily the message of Christ.
How could you give and what we receive from such a situation.
What a great thing would be to pursue our path, from a convent to another, from a structure connected to your community to another.
Do not be afraid, open your doors, give us the opportunity to meet the keepers of the faith today.
reconstruct a model of life lost, forgotten, finished in the history books and Christian pilgrimage.
reclaim a spiritual heritage, the pilgrims who left on foot towards the unknown in search of answers about life, which we lay today we need infinitely and we are looking for.
We will knock on your door and you apritecele; grow both, and both will benefit.
not let this opportunity to be in possession of the usual "merchants and seekers of profit," ... .. because this path will grow and grow more and more and soon we will see queues of pilgrims walking on those paths.
I believe that involve associations of lay volunteers, it would be possible to open these facilities beyond those that already contain and provide the pilgrims of the reference points for a break to secure a fair price.

......." I am convinced that within a few years things will change.
Angela's work was great. From all She has developed this idea, stitching together the paths that already exist, giving life as a journey.
Angela drew the line and threw the seeds ..... that is burgeoning and becoming larger and more robust.
is up to public institutions and ecclesiastical take learn and above all enhance the benefits.
Pilgrims will do their part by walking on these paths, as in the past have walked on those of Santiago, because they know that walking is born ..... a "path"

Oriano.
